We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our Amazon Australia team. As a key member of our Fulfillment Center team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs to our warehouse associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for new and experienced warehouse team members, including forklift and order picker operations.
- Perform data entry, including creating, entering, and updating training rosters.
- Lead and support Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associates.
- Assist in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the Fulfillment Center.
- Ability to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in new processes.
- Problem Solving responsibilities: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve.
- Complete understanding of the safety procedures in the Fulfillment Center to ensure that associates are operating safely and take immediate corrective action where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with audits and refresher/one point change training.
- Complete all standard work and assigned tasks on time and to standard expectation.
- Ensure area readiness and area organization for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activities.
- Spend a minimum of 5 hours per week in a warehouse process path (rotate through paths such as pick or pack) to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers.
Requirements
- 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
- High school or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
