Seasonal Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Seasonal Learning Trainer to join our team at Amazon Australia. This role will involve managing and working with the Ambassador team to deliver high standards of training to our new and existing associate workforce.

The successful candidate will be trained in both the standard work and tools used within the Learning function. They will be a strong communicator, who values teamwork and can function as a role model and engage in a professional manner with the entire FC workforce.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing, delivering, and assessing a multitude of training programs for both new and experienced warehouse team members
  • Performing data entry, including creating, entering, and updating training rosters
  • Leading and supporting Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associates
  • Assisting in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the FC
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in new processes
  • Problem-solving responsibilities, including reacting quickly and productively to serve as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve
  • Completing understanding of the safety procedures in the FC to ensure that associates are operating safely and taking immediate corrective action where necessary
  • Ensuring compliance with audits and refresher/one point change training
  • Completing all standard work and assigned tasks on time and to standard expectation
  • Ensuring area readiness and area organization for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activities
  • Spending a minimum of 5 hours per week in a warehouse process path (rotating through paths such as pick or pack) to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers
  • Positively impacting and working with our associates to succeed in their roles

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience, a high school or equivalent education, and the ability to work 38 hours/week with overtime as required.
