Job Summary

The IT Support Engineer is a key member of our Global IT organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all Amazon Fulfillment Centers. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, providing timely and effective support to our teams. Your expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues will be invaluable in maintaining our high standards of service.

Responsibilities

* Provide technical support for all IT-related equipment, including PCs, wireless handheld devices, thin clients, printers, and other end-user devices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, working closely with our teams to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
* Manage multiple customer requests simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional service.
* Collaborate with our IT teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring our IT infrastructure remains up-to-date and efficient.

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT-related field preferred.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills in a multi-user high-pressure environment.
* Expertise in one or more specialized areas of IT, such as Microsoft Administration, Linux Administration, or Cisco IOS (CLI).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
* Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours per day, with willingness to work flexible shifts and scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
