Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Data, Product & Technology - Enterprise team.

The successful candidate will contribute to our responsible data and AI strategy, working with senior leaders to implement and maintain frameworks that enable ambitious innovation while upholding ethical standards and strong privacy protections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Governance: Develop and maintain data governance frameworks that ensure the quality and fitness for purpose of key data assets.
  • Champion Data Integrity: Support the management of our data assets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Drive Privacy Compliance: Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for new projects, ensuring obligations under relevant regulations are met.
  • Manage Risk: Identify and mitigate risks related to data privacy and the responsible use of AI.
  • Collaborate and Educate: Partner with teams across the business to embed a 'Privacy-by-Design' culture and contribute to training programs.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in data privacy, data governance, or technology risk.
  • Strong understanding of relevant regulations, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
  • Hands-on experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
  • Understanding of data management principles, including data quality and lifecycle management.
  • Solid grasp of AI concepts (including machine learning and generative AI) and their privacy implications.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into practical advice.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience in the media, entertainment, advertising, or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with data governance roles and cloud platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with emerging AI governance, safety, or ethics frameworks.
  • Relevant industry certifications (CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E, AIGP).
