Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. As a senior accountant, you will be responsible for managing key accounting functions and contributing to the financial health of our growing business.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills and be able to manage staff members effectively, while also maintaining high levels of accuracy in accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end processes and BAS reporting.

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior accountant who wants to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organisation.

  • A qualification in Accounting or demonstratable experience in an accounting role (CPA/CA qualifications desirable)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a senior accountant with leadership expertise
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of business operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MYOB
  • Understanding of local government and statutory requirements
  • Professional communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Commitment to continued learning
