Job Role:

The successful candidate will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team within a Primary Health Care framework in partnership with the community and other organisations. They will provide planned, coordinated and comprehensive primary health and emergency care to members of the community in a culturally secure environment.

  • Comprehensive nursing experience including assessment, emergency management, primary healthcare, and recent accident and emergency skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a cross-cultural setting.
  • Effective interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of equal opportunity, disability services and occupational safety & health, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid working visa or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia.
  • Completion of satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA).
  • Eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
