Job Summary
Cyber Security Engineer RoleThis position is ideal for professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in SIEM/SOAR platforms, Microsoft Defender solutions, cloud security, and OT/ICS environments.
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with hands-on experience in security operations, threat detection, and incident response. This role involves leading investigations into security incidents, coordinating response efforts, and contributing to a high-performing security team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate security incidents, coordinate response efforts, and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules within SIEM platforms to enhance threat visibility.
- Design and implement automated workflows using SOAR tools to streamline incident response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve threat detection and response times.
- Support the integration and optimization of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for IoT, and Sentinel.
- Contribute to cloud security initiatives, including configuration reviews, logging, and compliance assessments.
- Assist in securing OT/ICS environments through segmentation, monitoring, and protocol analysis.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, SOC detection, threat analytics, SIEM, IT operations, and incident response.
- OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements.
