Business Services Manager

Position Overview:
This role involves collaborating closely with a Director and supervising an Accountant, focusing on various strategic initiatives for thriving enterprises, affluent individuals, and distinguished professionals. The position entails providing comprehensive tax and cash flow planning guidance, including the ongoing assessment and review of income tax, GST, and BAS obligations.
Client Relationship Management:
You will be responsible for nurturing relationships with current clients, addressing their commercial needs, preparing tax returns, and compiling financial statements. This role also encompasses a diverse range of compliance and advisory tasks.
Leadership and Support:
In this capacity, you will offer hands-on mentorship to your direct report, managing task distribution, workflow efficiency, and productivity. Additionally, you will oversee billing preparation and budget oversight while ensuring your expertise remains current and aligned with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a similar role is required, along with a proactive, organized, and self-motivated approach. Experience in mentoring others is preferred, and familiarity with Xero is advantageous.
