Industry Partnerships and Curriculum Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a range of student employability initiatives, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure positive industry experiences.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leveraging their expertise in student internship programs to develop and implement innovative initiatives that meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Collaborating with the Employability Team to deliver high-quality employability projects, ensuring seamless execution and reporting;
  • Fostering strong relationships with industry employers, students, academic and professional staff, and the Student Transitions and Employability team to drive engagement and outcomes;
  • Developing and managing multiple employability projects concurrently, with a focus on data management, organisational skills, and personal drive;
  • Maintaining a keen eye on industry trends and best practices to inform curriculum development and program coordination.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant area, or equivalent level of expertise gained from experience, training, or professional accreditation;
  • Strong organisational skills, data management skills, and personal drive, with the ability to manage and report on multiple employability projects concurrently;
  • Demonstrated experience in performing employability program coordination, with a keen desire to work with students, academic and professional staff, and industry employers;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage with students, academics, and external industry/government partners in the context of internship activities and outcomes;
  • A proven track record in delivering against administrative deadlines, with a focus on quality and timeliness.
