Therapeutic Youth Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Youth Worker to join our team in the Orange region. As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on assistance, nurturing, and guidance to individuals between the ages of 12 and 17 living in our Therapeutic Care homes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote the well-being and resilience of the young people in our care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the provision of high-quality care and support services.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and activities that promote the social, emotional, and educational development of the young people in our care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting children and young people with complex needs.
- A relevant Diploma or bachelor's degree level qualification in a field related to child and youth care.
- Experience supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma, have a disability, and/or exhibit pain-based behaviors of concern.
- A current Provide First Aid (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) & CPR (HLTAID001 or HLTAID009) Certificate/s or willingness to obtain.
- A current Driver's Licence.
