Therapeutic Youth Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapeutic Youth Worker to join our team at Lifestyle Solutions. As a Therapeutic Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young individuals with complex needs and disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized care and support to young individuals, meeting their daily needs and promoting their independence.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the young person, their family, and our multidisciplinary team.
- Support young individuals in developing essential life skills, including education, vocational training, and independent living skills.
- Advocate for the rights and needs of the young individuals, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Collaborate with our clinical and practice teams to provide comprehensive support and services to young individuals and their families.
- Document accurately events and developments related to the day-to-day provision of care for the young individuals' journey with Lifestyle Solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working with individuals with autism and complex trauma.
- Experience in trauma-informed care and person-centered care.
- Ability to manage restrictive behaviors with patience, empathy, and compassion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an understanding of nonverbal cues such as body language, facial expressions, gestures, and emotions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with the ability to express ideas, thoughts, and information clearly.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development opportunities.
