Clinical Educator in Critical Care
Critical care nurse educators play a pivotal role in fostering learning and professional growth within healthcare settings. In this critical care unit, you will facilitate workplace learning through clinical teaching, supervision, assessment, and support for all staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach and assess nursing students in the intensive care unit, promoting excellence in patient care and education.
- Support learners to meet program objectives and academic standards, driving quality and safety within the hospital.
- Develop and deliver education, training, workshops, seminars, and clinical support to improve patient outcomes, enhancing the overall quality of care.
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA is essential.
- A relevant Postgraduate qualification is required.
- A minimum of five years' experience specialising in Intensive Care Nursing is preferred.
- Previous education/facilitation experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to work with dynamic and diverse teams, building and maintaining effective relationships.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and achieve outcomes, showcasing high levels of self-motivation and accountability.
