We are seeking a skilled and experienced consultant in Intensive Care Medicine to join our team. As an Intensive Care Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of clinical and non-technical skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Intensive Care Medicine, with experience in a peer-supported environment. You will also need to demonstrate a commitment to Austin Health values, including a focus on high-quality patient care and ongoing activity in research and/or clinical audit activities.
This role is a one-year fixed-term part-time position, making it an excellent opportunity for recently qualified specialists to gain valuable experience and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide consultant-level care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Contribute to the development of clinical and non-technical skills through teaching and training.
- Pursue ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Intensive Care Medicine.
- A Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand.
- Registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrated commitment and ongoing activity in research and/or clinical audit activities.
