Job Summary

As a Sales and Infrastructure Specialist at BT Group, you will play a crucial role in our pre-sales community, working closely with global and regional account teams to identify and qualify new business opportunities. Your primary focus will be on developing and selling network services and the BT Connect portfolio, driving business growth and expanding our share of wallet in existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the market.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in network services and the BT Connect portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sales teams, suppliers, and vendors, to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to internal and external customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible solutions to meet their business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform your sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive business results.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in the network services and telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of connectivity technologies, including underlay and overlay network services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen and financial skills, with experience of P&L structure, drivers, and optimisation techniques.
  • Comprehensive IT and telecom industry awareness, including competitor capabilities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
