Quality Management Leadership Role

This position involves overseeing the Quality function and contributing to site leadership, responsible for all aspects of quality, food safety, and environmental management to ensure consistent delivery of products in specification.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with various stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Food Safety, Quality Management, Environmental & Social Responsibility Programs across the site and associated supply chains.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and lead corrective/preventive actions to ensure food safety and product quality.
  • Oversee HACCP programs and manage third-party audit activities, ensuring readiness for regulatory, BRCGS, and customer standards audits.
  • Investigate product-related issues, including changes, legal claims, and customer complaints, coordinating resolution efforts with production teams.
  • Collaborate with customers, government agencies, and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance, and effective communication on Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Environmental & Social Responsibility matters.
About You
  • You will have a Diploma or Bachelor degree in a related field, equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in a similar role, preferably with formal qualifications in HACCP and Food Safety.
  • A deep understanding of legislative and operational requirements of Federal, State, and Local Government Acts regarding Food Safety.
  • Experience in export markets and regulatory compliance management is highly desirable.
