Lead Quality and Assurance Manager

This role sees you leading the quality function and part of the site leadership team, ensuring the consistent delivery of products in specification while driving a continuous improvement mindset.
About This Opportunity- You will have overall responsibility for Food Safety, Quality Management, Environmental & Social Responsibility Programs for the site and associated supply chains.
- Lead and oversee Food Safety, Quality Management, Environmental & Social Responsibility Programs for the site and associated supply chains.
- Drive continuous improvement and initiate corrective/preventive action to ensure food safety and product quality.
- Oversee and manage HACCP program.
- Lead all third-party audit activities and ensure audit readiness, including regulatory, customer standards.
- Investigate product-related issues, coordinate resolution efforts with production teams.
- Serve as primary liaison for Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Environmental & Social Responsibility matters with government agencies, customers and corporate stakeholders.
- Degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
- At least 5 years experience in similar role.
- Formal qualifications in HACCP and Food Safety.
- Understanding of Food Safety & Quality requirements of Governmental Regulatory Bodies.
- Able to function autonomously, be proactive and adapt to changing business demands.
- Ability to communicate effectively, building rapport with stakeholders for productive outcomes.
- Recognise critical matters and escalate to appropriate stakeholders.
