
Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Risk Management team. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne and require collaboration between office and remote work environments at least three days a week.
Reporting to Senior Manager, Compliance Advisory, this role will support the management of regulatory compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with organisational requirements.
The key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and enhancement of comprehensive compliance frameworks and processes.
- Assisting in maintaining the obligations register and identifying ownership.
- Undertaking conflict management activities.
- Establishing and implementing effective monitoring mechanisms for compliance practices.
- Managing financial services licensing and authorisations.
- Managing fit and proper requirements for regulated roles.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the Compliance function.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in a similar role in regulatory compliance or legal areas with experience in the Australian financial services industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Key characteristics of this role include:
- Expertise in regulatory obligations related to superannuation, investments, administration, financial advice, or insurance broking.
