Financial Asset Specialist

The Fixed Assets Analyst position is a critical role within our finance team. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our close-knit team of six in a stable and well-established environment.

This highly impactful position plays a vital part in supporting our organisation's financial reporting and compliance obligations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Fixed Asset Register, performing monthly reconciliations across the organisation, and ensuring accurate accounting of leases in accordance with AASB 16 within the SAP environment.

The role also involves reviewing Assets Under Construction (AUC) projects, preparing accruals, and managing the capitalisation process in SAP.

You will directly support year-end and early close audits, making this a key role in ensuring our financial integrity and compliance.

Beyond the numbers, you will engage with multiple stakeholders to manage asset revaluations, disposals, and reporting.

You will also contribute to performance development planning and respond to financial inquiries with insightful analysis.
