About This Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and colleagues by adhering to National Quality Standards and Goodstart's policies and procedures.
  • Built strong relationships with children and families by engaging in positive interactions and providing high-quality care and education.
  • Contribute to the development of the education program in your room and centre by participating in planning, implementing, and evaluating programs.
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and continuous improvement by staying up-to-date with best practices and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Participate in a professional and positive work culture by being approachable, respectful, and supportive of colleagues.
Eligibility Requirements
  • A willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
  • A permanent right to work in Australia.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with children and families.
  • Good time management and organisational skills to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • An ability to work well individually and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • An enthusiasm and positive attitude to contribute to a productive and motivating work environment.
  • Flexible availability to meet the needs of the service and its clients.
  • An interest in early years education and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families.
  • A Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one) and proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis).
