About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Packaging Operations Manager to join our team, leading the Packaging Team and ensuring delivery of high-quality products.

This role involves providing guidance, support, and leadership to the team, focusing on process and product quality (packaging), HSE standards, and GMP/HACCP compliance.

You will work closely with the team to coordinate maintenance, troubleshooting, and new product development projects, ensuring seamless operations and KPI achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide input into and promote HSE and quality standards, guiding the team towards relevant goals.
  • Process and Product Quality: Manage packaging processes and ensure quality outputs, maintaining GMP/HACCP and GFSI compliance standards.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Coordinate maintenance activities, resolve breakdowns, and ensure plant availability.
  • New Product Development: Support the application of call-out and escalation procedures and contribute to new product development initiatives.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will be a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, capable of driving improvements and leading by example.

You should possess:

  • A Tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience within a packaging or operational manufacturing role.
  • A strong Safety and Quality mindset with experience in HSE leadership and knowledge of quality principles.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
