About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Product Developer to join our Cotton On Menswear team. As the pivotal link between the buyer and the supplier, you will be responsible for sending accurate information clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders and ensuring production is completed in a timely manner. Your key areas of focus will be style production, managing production and shipping schedules, approving lab dips, strikes offs, product measurements and fittings, sample coordination and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage style production, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of products to market
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained
  • Approve lab dips, strikes offs, product measurements and fittings to ensure products meet quality and aesthetic standards
  • Develop and maintain technical drawings and specifications for products
  • Collaborate with buyers to ensure product requirements are met and production schedules are aligned

Requirements

  • Tertiary degree or qualification in Product Development
  • Proven experience in a similar Product Developer role, with a focus on accessories
  • Demonstrated experience of product specifications, construction and measurement, composition and materials
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator
  • Possess hands-on experience dealing and collaborating with buyers and suppliers
