Job Title

The Positive Behaviour Support division is seeking a qualified clinician to join our national team of Psychologists & Counsellors. We provide clinical services to individuals aged 0-65 across various presentations, diagnoses, and disability types.

This role offers a unique opportunity to form close bonds with clients, celebrating their achievements while working together to meet their goals. You will play an integral part in their personal growth and development, assessing and observing challenging behaviours, and introducing replacement behaviours to reduce restrictive practices.

Our service focuses on increasing quality of life, improving skills, and enhancing independence. As a clinician, you will develop individualised plans, implement training, and conduct regular follow-ups and reviews.

We believe in work-life balance and offer resources for staff to work from home, allocate clients near their residences, and provide flexible scheduling options. Our dedicated Learning & Development Managers are available for one-on-one and group training sessions, offering expert advice on complex cases.

Key qualifications include:

  • Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Board-Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBA), Teaching, Social Work, Social Sciences, Criminology, Childhood Education & Care, Health Science, Allied Health, or Nursing
  • NDIS Registration as a Behaviour Practitioner (or the ability to become registered)
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, and other complex diagnoses (desirable)
  • A car and licence
  • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one before commencement
