Job Title:

A senior clinician is sought to lead a project on behaviour support in acute spinal cord injury care.

About the Role

  • We are seeking a senior allied health professional to provide project leadership on a Transport Accident Commission funded project in the VSCS.
  • The project will implement and evaluate the impact of positive behaviour support in assisting staff and patients with behaviours of concern and emotional distress.
  • Working with key stakeholders, the Project Lead will ensure successful delivery of project and research outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with VSCS clinicians, clinical leaders, TAC and research team to deliver all aspects of the project.
  • Monitor, document and report project performance, including budget, key deliverables and research outputs.
  • Support quality improvement and research aspects of the project, such as data collection and analysis.
  • Disseminate project impacts internally and externally through conference presentations, reports and/or research publications.

About You

  • An allied health qualification and current registration with the relevant Professional Board or eligibility for membership with the relevant Professional Association.
  • Experience in project management within a hospital or community health setting.
  • Project management skills, including forward planning, monitoring performance and project risks.
  • High level interpersonal skills that promote teamwork and engagement.
