ROLE OVERVIEW
- Lead a team of 8 accountants while managing your own portfolio of clients from inception to completion.
- Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships.
- Oversee the preparation of Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, and Business Activity Statements for various entities including Individuals, Corporations, Trusts, and Partnerships.
- Provide tax advisory services to clients regarding specific transactions.
- Mentor and guide junior accountants within the team.
- Address IT-related issues, enhancements, and upgrades.
- Engage with both internal and external stakeholders extensively.
- Collaborate with other Managers and Directors to fulfill their objectives, including executing complex assignments for Directors.
- Review project budgets, monitor work in progress, and ensure compliance with the firm's workflow protocols. Approve fees with clear and commercially viable justifications.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge in direct and indirect tax matters relevant to the SME sector.
