We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Specialist Manager to join our team at Kennards Hire.

As an Assistant Specialist Manager, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and safe work environment that delivers exceptional service to our customers. You will support the Specialist Manager to supervise and coach team members to work to Kennards Hire standards, helping them to grow and develop in their roles.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring effective front desk operations and administration requirements are met to standards, supporting the branch in asset utilisation in accordance with Repair, Share, Replace principles, liaising with the transport team to ensure delivery and pickup of equipment to the customer on time, and supervising, delegating and assigning daily duties to team members and ensuring all tasks are completed to Kennards Hire Standards.

About You
  • A previous experience within a retail sales/leadership role from the trade or hardware industry is highly desirable;
  • An impressive track record in people management, effective coaching, and performance enhancement;
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships;
  • Excellent communication skills and tech savvy;
  • Strong team player and a commitment to safety.

The estimated salary for this role is around $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
