Retail Cluster Manager

We are seeking a results-driven leader to oversee a group of retail stores, working closely with Store Managers and our National Support Centre to drive sales performance, elevate customer experience, and ensure operational success.

This pivotal leadership role offers opportunities to influence store success, develop high-performing teams, and foster a strong culture across your cluster. You will work closely with our National Support Centre, leveraging your retail experience to shine through and developing further in this growing company.

As a Cluster Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing approximately 5–7 stores within the state. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Being visible in-store, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on coaching.
  • Couching and mentoring Store Managers to lead engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Ensuring consistency in service, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Aligning store performance with broader business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with our National Support Centre and building strong relationships across our national network.

You will drive commercial and operational excellence by ensuring optimal stock levels, managing stocktakes, and minimising shrinkage. Additionally, you will oversee pricing, returns, rostering, payroll, and compliance processes, as well as guide visual merchandising execution in line with national guidelines to maximise brand visibility and sales performance.

About You

We are looking for a commercially savvy, people-focused leader with a passion for homewares and retail. To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience as a multi-site Area, State, or Territory Manager.
  • Proven success in driving sales and service outcomes across diverse retail environments.
  • Strong capability in coaching, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
  • A solutions-focused, adaptable, and hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience in performance management and proactive issue resolution.
  • Capability in recruitment, onboarding, induction, and succession planning.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • A growth mindset—always looking to improve and adapt.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • High emotional intelligence and confident communication skills.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various stores in the state and flexibility to travel interstate as required.
  • Candidates with buying and back-end retail operational experience will be highly regarded.
