Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious retail leader to manage a cluster of stores, working closely with Store Managers and the National Support Centre to drive sales performance, elevate customer experience, and ensure operational success.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you will have the opportunity to influence store success, develop high-performing teams, and foster a strong culture across your cluster. Working closely with the National Support Centre, this role will allow your retail experience to shine through and offers opportunities to develop further in a growing organisation.

As a Cluster Manager, responsible for overseeing approximately 5–7 stores within a state, you will:

  • Be visible in-store, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on coaching.
  • Coach and mentor Store Managers to lead engaged, high-performing teams.
  • Ensure consistency in service, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Align store performance with broader business objectives and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with the National Support Centre and build strong relationships across the national network.

Driving commercial and operational excellence, you will:

  • Ensure optimal stock levels, manage stocktakes, and minimize shrinkage.
  • Oversee pricing, returns, rostering, payroll, and compliance processes.
  • Guide visual merchandising execution in line with national guidelines to maximize brand visibility and sales performance.
Requirements

We are looking for a commercially savvy, people-focused leader with a passion for homewares and retail. You will bring:

  • 5+ years' experience as a multi-site Area, State, or Territory Manager.
  • Proven success in driving sales and service outcomes across diverse retail environments.
  • Strong capability in coaching, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel interstate as required.
  • A solutions-focused, adaptable, and hands-on leadership style.
  • Experience in performance management and proactive issue resolution.
  • Capability in recruitment, onboarding, induction, and succession planning.
  • A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • A growth mindset—always looking to improve and adapt.
  • Commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis.
  • High emotional intelligence and confident communication skills.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various stores in a state and flexibility to travel interstate as required.
  • Candidates with buying and back-end retail operational experience will be highly regarded.
