Haematology Nursing Career Opportunity

The Northern Sydney Local Health District seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Haematology/Transplant Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital. Our 21-bed ward delivers services for patients undergoing chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy, and blood product administration.

Your Role
  • You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care collaboratively with healthcare professionals and teams to achieve high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for working within our multi-disciplinary team.
  • You must have current experience in an acute hospital environment and be able to demonstrate critical thinking and clinical knowledge.
Certification and Screening Requirements

Please note that this position requires immunization and screening for certain diseases, as outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11). You will need to complete the OASV Undertaking/Declaration Form and TB Assessment Tool during the recruitment process.
