
Haematology Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Enrolled Nurse to join our Haematology/Transplant Unit at Royal North Shore Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to provide safe and effective nursing care to patients requiring chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, radiotherapy, and blood products.
The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, providing holistic care to patients with haematological disorders. They will be responsible for administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Post-registration experience in an acute hospital environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to consult with the Registered Nurse to ensure delegation is commensurate with their level of competence.
