Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and/or international accounting standards, as well as experience in process automation and system implementation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Own the day-to-day financial accounting and month-end processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Prepare and post journals, reconciliations and adjustments across key accounts including revenue, payroll, and accruals.
- Assist with preparation of monthly management reports, board packs and variance analysis to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with all tax, BAS, payroll tax and statutory obligations.
