Financial Accountant Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand financial performance and contribute to informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, including month-end journals, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and business partnering
  • Review P&L and variance reports with operational stakeholders and contribute to financial performance discussions
  • Maintain advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, and reporting tools
  • Develop and implement effective financial processes and procedures
  • Provide financial guidance and support to internal stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in financial and/or management accounting, ideally within a complex or regulated industry
  • Proven ability to review P&L and variance reports with operational stakeholders and contribute to financial performance discussions
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, and reporting tools
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders and present complex financial information clearly
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and respond to dynamic business needs
