Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting Specialist

This role is responsible for supporting the Head of Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting with timely and accurate delivery of financial control, governance and statutory reporting activities.
The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting by Financial Services/Funds Management organizations.
About the Role:- Provide leadership and support to the Financial Control team across various projects.
- Support annual financial reporting processes, including APRA data collection.
- Interpret complex regulatory and accounting concepts and communicate them to non-financial colleagues, management, and executives.
- Liaise with internal business units and finance leaders to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Enhance monthly financial close activities and ensure they are performed timely and accurately.
- Prior experience working in the superannuation industry.
- CA or CPA status with at least 10 years post-qualification experience in a chartered, trust/fund, or corporate accounting role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting by Financial Services/Funds Management organizations.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud or other cloud-based ERP/EPM systems is ideal.
