The role of Compositing Supervisor is a critical part of the visual effects (VFX) process.

About the Job

As a Compositing Supervisor, you will work closely with the VFX and DFX Supervisors to oversee and deliver all compositing aspects of a project.

Your key responsibilities will include managing and supervising a team of 2D artists, solving technical problems, designing the approach to shots, and setting the creative standard for your team.

You will also work collaboratively with other Department Supervisors to deliver the creative vision of the VFX Supervisor.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • VFX industry experience as a 2D Supervisor
  • Experience working directly with VFX and DFX Supervisors
  • Experience managing and supervising a team of 2D artists
  • Critical eye for detail and ability to communicate visual aspects to the team with a clear creative brief
  • Experience in production bidding
  • Experience in project management, balancing quality with time constraints
  • Experience developing production methodologies, creative approaches, and problem-solving
  • Good general knowledge of VFX pipeline and 3D Softwares
  • Advanced experience in Nuke
  • Advanced understanding of Colour pipeline and client deliverables
