Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing LV/MV/HV Electrical systems, including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, Sivacon S8, Distribution Boards, PLC panels, control panels, and outdoor enclosures
  • AutoCAD drafting of general arrangements, single line diagrams, and schematic diagrams of switchboards, kiosks, and switchrooms
  • Working with a team of 10 design engineers on major projects in Australia
  • Involvement in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) / Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and commissioning
  • Project management

Essential requirements for this role:

  • Tertiary Engineering qualification
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient use of AutoCAD, Solidworks, and Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Willingness to work as directed

Required technical skills and qualifications include:

  • 4-5+ years' experience in electrical engineering
  • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, PowerCAD, Solidworks
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and SIRs
  • Possess excellent knowledge and experience with commonly used supplier equipment such as Siemens, ABB, Schneider, and NHP
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum
