About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support our Blackheath business, while also contributing to the success of our other 4 Blue Mountains locations. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on implementing structure and organisational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the success of the Blackheath business, working closely with the Store Manager to achieve excellence every day.
  • Utilise your experience in dynamic convenience retail, food, grocery, or supermarket environments to drive top-line profitability and manage costs effectively.
  • Implement structure and process, actioning all paperwork and invoicing requirements, while ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, empowering them to deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve excellence every day.
  • Assist the Store Manager with rostering, ensuring a flexible and efficient schedule that meets the needs of the business and team members.
Requirements
  • A valid full Driver's License is required, as this role will involve travel between sites on Saturday's and Sunday's.
  • Experience in dynamic convenience retail, food, grocery, or supermarket environments is essential.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently with a team and autonomously.
  • A positive and proactive approach to safety, health, and wellbeing is required.
