Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to join our team at La Mer. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to lead, coach, and develop our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Manage retail operations, including inventory management, cash reconciliation, and visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture that values diversity and promotes employee engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within the cosmetics industry.
  • Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale software.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and special events.
