Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations in a remote village environment. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily menu planning, food preparation, and presentation. Your leadership skills will ensure that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing a team of chefs, with a proven track record of success in bulk cooking environments. A strong understanding of HACCP principles and workplace safety systems is essential. You must be able to work effectively under pressure, ensuring seamless service delivery during peak periods.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 3 years' cumulative chef experience, with a minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in a remote village or similar environment
  • Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent trade certificate
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and workplace safety systems
  • Ability to manage staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications

Onboarding Process
