Beaconhills College seeks a seasoned leader to head their English department for students in years 9-12.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating an environment where teachers can thrive and grow professionally. This will involve fostering collaboration, reflective practice, and continuous improvement among faculty members.

As Head of English (9-12), you will lead a team of dedicated educators in designing and delivering high-quality curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners. You will work closely with colleagues to develop pedagogical strategies and assess student progress.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing curriculum initiatives that promote academic excellence
  • Mentoring and supporting teaching staff to enhance their instructional practices
  • Coordinating departmental meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Fostering partnerships with other departments to ensure comprehensive learning experiences
