About Our Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our residents by joining our catering team.

As a key member, you will play a vital role in supporting our dining experiences by assisting with meal preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing meals, including chopping vegetables, assembling salads, portioning food, and preparing simple dishes under supervision.
  • Help serve meals to residents during mealtimes, ensuring each resident receives the appropriate meal according to their dietary requirements.
  • Set up the dining areas before mealtimes, ensuring tables are clean and all necessary items like cutlery, plates, and glasses are in place.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and dining area.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly and courteous manner during mealtimes, addressing their needs and requests as appropriate.

You will be required to have a Food Handlers Certificate and be adaptable, passionate, and willing to learn. Collaborative and skilled at teamwork, friendly and effective communication abilities are essential for this role.
