Digital Collection Curator

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in developing and implementing policies, techniques, and procedures for technical production and preservation of audio-visual, oral history, and sound recording collections.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach staff using digital audio workstations and processing systems.
- Provide expertise and technical knowledge to support the development of library archival audio visual, oral history, and other sound recording collections.
- Liaise with digital preservation contractors and oral history interviewers, and be responsible for contract management, specialist technical equipment procurement, and statistical and administrative reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in digital collection management, particularly digital acquisition, creation, and preservation of digital collection assets, including the technologies required for this work.
- Knowledge and experience in sound recording technology and logistics are highly desirable.
- Experience in contract management and procurement would be an advantage.
- A degree or equivalent experience in Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, or related fields is desirable.
