Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Oak Towers Aged Care, where you will be responsible for assisting with food handling, preparation, and cooking duties. This role requires a strong focus on maintaining a clean kitchen environment and adhering to safe food hygiene practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience in commercial food preparation and cooking;
  2. A strong knowledge of safe food hygiene practices and kitchen safety;
  3. Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one);
  4. Valid Australian Work Rights (unfortunately we cannot sponsor at this time).

Desirable Skills:

  1. One year's experience as a commercial cook;
  2. Experience supervising and training junior kitchen staff and trainees;
  3. Confidence in communicating with supervisors and suppliers.
