Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team in preparing nutritious meals for residents.

About the Role
  • Prepare and cook meals according to dietary requirements, menu plans, and resident preferences.
  • Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen environment in line with food safety standards.
  • Accurately prepare special diets (texture-modified, diabetic, allergen-free).
  • Collaborate with dietitians and facility staff to ensure meal quality and compliance with care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor kitchen assistants or food service staff when required.
  • Participate in stock ordering, rotation, and waste management.
Requirements
  • Qualification as a Cook (Certificate 3 Commercial Cookery)
  • Significant experience in commercial cooking.
  • A compassionate approach to patient-centred care.
  • The ability to nurture friendly relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
