The opportunity: Supporting the Chef Manager with kitchen compliance, production and delivery of high-quality meals and supporting the catering team.

What You Will Do
  • You will be responsible for the daily cooking, in line with our site Food Safety Plan.
  • Your key responsibilities will include the preparation of food for our residents.
  • You will deliver the highest standard of client food services and ensure competency certification of all tasks undertaken.
  • You will observe and follow correct food handling policies and procedures as documented in the Food Safety Program.
  • You will complete all relevant monitoring documentation in regard to food safety.

  • Food handling skills and previous experience within kitchen operations.
  • Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery.

Requirements for Working in Residential Aged Care

To work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, including NDIS or police check (role dependent), current year flu vaccination, and certification proof.
