We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead the development and implementation of strategic sourcing strategies across our ANZ Manufacturing portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for operations, engineering, and maintenance spend, ensuring alignment with our business goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement category strategies to optimize value and risk
- Oversee day-to-day purchasing activities, including catalogue maintenance and purchase requisition conversion
- Conduct market analysis and supplier segmentation to inform sourcing decisions
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in the supply base to support plant reliability and performance
- Support CAPEX and OPEX projects and shutdowns with integrated procurement planning and execution
Requirements:
- Experience working within a matrix cross-functional structure of a global organisation
- Deep understanding of MRO and EPCM contract management
- Knowledge and experience in chemical/manufacturing/mining procurement roles, driving value creation
- Passion for agriculture, Australian manufacturing, and the evolving ag sector
- Resilient, results-driven, passionate, team player, change agent, effective communicator, engaging leader
