As a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in implementing the Shell Wells Assist and Assure program across multiple sites. Your primary responsibility will be to support onsite personnel in ensuring that operational HSE agendas are implemented and sustained.
Key Responsibilities- Coach onsite supervisors and teams on effective implementation of the Wells Assist and Assure program.
- Evaluate the embedding of HSE focus areas against Shell Wells requirements.
- Develop action plans to close any gaps identified.
- Train and advise site personnel on implementation of required action items.
- Advise onsite managers on day-to-day safety matters, including dissemination and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
- Assist onsite managers in implementing and embedding HSE programs.
- Participate in HSSE meetings to share best practices and learnings.
- Ensure all HSE activities required by the Wells or Business Improvement Plan are implemented.
- Present an approved feedback report for each site visit.
- Promote a HSE aware culture among contractors and staff.
- Demonstrate Safety Leadership daily and coach others to do the same.
- 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry with up to 4 years offshore experience.
- Formal HSE qualification and site experience with supervisory exposure.
