Senior Tax Advisor

Embark on a career-defining journey as a Senior Associate in our Tax Practice. As a trusted advisor to top companies across Australia and globally, you will leverage your expertise to navigate complex transactions and disputes.
You will be based in Sydney as part of our national Tax team, working closely with partners and the wider team to provide expert tax guidance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Representing clients in tax advisory work, assisting them in implementing their commercial objectives while ensuring compliance with tax regulations; and/or resolving disputes through various channels, including litigation.
- Providing technically sound and commercially informed advice on tax issues relevant to transactions and projects for clients across various sectors, including technology and energy.
- Collaborating with practice groups across Allens to deliver cohesive and commercially optimised advice and specialist transactional support.
- Working with leading tax experts to manage disputes and opinions for clients.
- Supporting clients through ATO engagement, including private rulings, class rulings, FIRB approvals, reviews, and audits, as well as providing strategic engagement approaches to minimise risks and resolve issues efficiently.
