About the Role:
The Resident Maintenance Officer will be responsible for managing sensitive and confidential information related to resident accounts, including account setup, discharge, billing journals, statements, and refundable accommodation deposits. This role requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain sub-ledger system data to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Process billing journals and sundry invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Process refundable accommodation deposit transactions and maintain centralized documentation of all relevant information.
- Investigate and resolve customer queries and discrepancies in a professional and timely manner.
- Support process improvement activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
Requirements:
- Experience in complex accounts receivable roles, preferably in aged care or healthcare.
- Diploma qualifications in accounting or a related field.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in consumer-oriented shared service environments managing large volumes and high complexity of transactions.
