Community Engagement Lead

 

Job Description

As a Community Engagement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and inclusive community environment that promotes social connection, wellness, and quality of life for older adults. You will lead the design and delivery of innovative engagement programs that cater to diverse interests, backgrounds, and wellness goals.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance community engagement and participation.
  • Collaborate with residents, families, staff, and external partners to build meaningful relationships and drive community growth.
  • Lead the planning and execution of various events, activities, and programs that promote socialization, education, and wellness.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Strong strategic thinking and program design skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience in community engagement, program development, aged care, social services, or a related field.
  • Ability to identify and secure grant funding or manage community-based funding initiatives.
  • Organisational and project management strength, with attention to detail and follow-through.
