About the Role

As a Strategic Procurement Solutions Manager, you will collaborate with our team to develop and execute high-quality procurement processes that drive business value and align with organizational goals.

This role involves working within a business partnering model in a state government multi-disciplinary team, engaging with technical subject matter experts to formulate requirements, evaluate responses, and drive procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert procurement advice and ensure a consistent approach in high-value, complex ICT procurement activities.
  • Develop comprehensive procurement documents, including tenders, requests for proposals (RFPs), and contracts.
  • Lead sourcing processes in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring adherence to policies and probity requirements.
  • Partner with the Procurement Lead and manage engagement with external probity advisors and auditors.
  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to define requirements and evaluate responses effectively.
  • Work closely with DFFH Procurement stakeholders to secure timely inputs and necessary endorsements.
  • Monitor and report on procurement progress, risks, and outcomes to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

About You

We're looking for an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of ICT procurement principles, probity, and governance standards. You should have a proven ability to develop procurement strategies, documents, and contracts tailored to organizational needs.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills for collaborating with diverse teams, as well as experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and engaging technical subject matter experts.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in ICT procurement, including managing high-value and complex processes.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, probity, and governance standards.
  • Proven ability to develop procurement strategies, documents, and contracts tailored to organizational needs.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams and engaging technical subject matter experts.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, ranging from $157,356 to $180,115 per annum, plus superannuation, in addition to the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to meaningful projects in ICT procurement and community transformation.
