We are seeking individuals to join our team at Bethanie Peel Aged Care Home located in Mandurah.

This role is offered on a casual basis. The successful candidate will have experience in food preparation or cleaning and a friendly nature, with interaction with our residents core to our culture.

To be successful, you will have previous experience working as a Kitchen Hand or Domestic Assistant/Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment. You will also need a 'can do' attitude and genuine compassion for our residents.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Assisting in the preparation and serving of meals
  • Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition
Kitchen Assistant Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery
  • Ensuring required ingredients are available daily
Domestic Support Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring bathrooms, toilets, furniture, fittings, floors and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Liaising with other employees to ensure the needs of our residents are met
